The 1-day emergency first aid at work course is for employees who have been chosen to carry out first aid in the work place. This course will help the company meet their duties laid out in section 3(2) of the Health and Safety First Aid Regulations 1981.

- Initial Assessment
- Unconscious Breathing and Recovery Position
- The Heart, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heart Attacks and CPR
- One Rescuer CPR
- Chest Only Compressions
- CPR Handover to a Second Rescuer

We can offer 1-Day Emergency First Aid at Work Courses which can take a maximum of 12 candidates per first aid course. We can also come to you and do on-site 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work Courses at venues and locations of your choice.
During the 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work Course candidates will be expected to complete a theory question paper which ensures that learning has taken place during the course. The 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work Course is an on-going assessment with no test at the end which helps candidates relax as there is less pressure.
What Happens After The 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work Course? When you have successfully completed the 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work Course you will be emailed a first aid book that we will keep updated for you for the 3 years that the qualification is valid. After the three years you will need to do a refresher first aid course.
